Check under "Help!" for the map project. I thought I saw a thread somewhere for it, but can't seem to recall where, though. A cursory look doesn't provide any help, either.

Zip it, upload it somewhere and pm "grayrat" with link on this forum.
Map will be added to worldmap when he's online. Always took less than 1 day when I was uploading (1 and 2 months ago).

Seems we need to find out someone who knows him. If I remember correctly he was from Russia. So go and ask you friendly russian neighbours in salem

I know him, and write him in skype about this topic. So you can post link to your maps here or in pm to him.

Come again? Project's like this are much better served with good, clear and working communication protocols.

I haven't used this tool, since it's a hog and I'm thinking of writing a better one.
So... How are the map tiles supposed to be seamed together? Because PNG filenames have 0 based indexing for each session folder. Manually? Edge comparison?

It doesn't seam them together, it displays them similar to the Google Map's Api - renders the tiles in the viewport, using the tiles default naming convention of tile_x_y.png to figure out where they belong in relation to one another.

Users manually merge the various maps together by matching tiles by eye.

My 2 silver - I, for one, would prefer any future mapping tool created to NOT stitch tiles together. That would make maintaining the server map pages something of a nightmare.
Features I would like to see, however, are the ability to create zoom levels from within the tool itself, and something that doesn't go om nom nom RAM! Happy! - the current tool does NOT unload tiles from memory until closed.
