Few things I'd like to see added:
1) The small toolbar from ender's client that's got the four epuipment (right hand, left hand, purse, backpack) slots - it makes switching out tools and dealing with money far easier since it's small and can be left open.
2) Add thorn bushes, maple trees, logs, stumps, ect to the minimap - even if they are just colored dots for now rather than icons.
3) Allow for multiple configurations for what is shown on the minimap and easy switching between them via custom hotkeys (would be very nice when looking for specific things - or not looking for autumn grass XD )
4) Allow items to be added to constructions using shift+click (or something). Dragging/dropping is annoying.
5) Allow us to change what button sends to which chat. I type in party chat 90% of the time, so having to hit ctrl+enter to do so is annoying.
6) In the crafting tooltips for food and inspirationals, display the default stats (ender displays the info for inspirationals in crafting but not food). Having to check with the wiki all the time is a pain.
If I get some free time I might look into adding some/all of these myself (especially 1, 2, 5 and 6).
I didn't realize tilify existed (well...I did, I just didn't register what it actually did). It was making leveling areas annoying (digging/placing would always select the same - usually wrong - corner when not holding ctrl). Glad it can be temporarily disabled so I can level stuff easier (I find Ender's leveling tool annoying to use - the simple grid is far far nicer imo. The only instance I see myself using that is to find the max/min/mean for the heights of an area).
Also - is there a tool for merging the map sessions together? Preferably one that works on Linux (I know there is a map viewer that supposedly merges (or tries to, my friend said it placed the new map sections in the wrong place when he tried), but I've been playing on my Linux install and don't want to go through the hassle of A) moving the map files around so windows can see them and B) switching OS any time I want to merge). It would be nice to be able to view a map of just the area I've explored.
Anyway, I love the client. The custom hotkey bars are great, the height grid is far easier to use than Ender's flattening tool, the chat window being both mobile and always visible (without having it require ctrl+c to enter the chat) is very nice, and having *everything* stay where you move it is awesome. I was using Ender's client for about a week before switching, and I haven't used the default client at all yet.
EDIT: Oh, and by the way, the first couple of times my friend and I used your client the settings for toolbars didn't save. I'm not certain but it may have been caused by force closing the client for me, not sure about him. As far as I know the problem has resolved itself for both of us though. It saved for the first time when I first logged out and then closed the client.
