Hello Ender,

First of all, great work with your client! I have been using it for years without complaint. Thank you!

Within the past week or so I have been running into an issue where the client will stop responding completely. I've left it for 10+ minutes to see if it can kick back on or if I can get a stack trace to give to you. Unfortunately neither of these things have happened.

As best as I can tell the issue happens randomly in terms of timing and actions performed. The screen will freeze in place and becomes completely unresponsive. I end up needing to terminate the process.

I have not updated my video card driver nor any other component of my computer recently. As far as I am aware nothing has changed on my end, I updated Java recently but the problem remains.

I realize this is not very helpful information in terms of diagnostics so my question is how can I capture what is happening so I can give you an error to look at?

I have actually had this happen twice within the past 24hours, and never in the past 2-3 years previous to this.

There is no error report/crash, it is just a total client freeze. It also causes a music loop, which persists even after closing / reloading java/ the game.

This is what I am experiencing as well. I pulled my crash report from my salem folder after force closing the client.

Looks like wiki somehow messing things up, even though it should not. I'll look into it.

Client updated. Changes:

• added madness level to biles tooltip
• added tooltip with estimated timer completion date to timer widget

As for client hanging up - I can't reproduce it now. Does it happen only after long play time?

Happens at the start of playing as well as long play times. It also happens alot more when I have a 2nd client open and I'm doing something like putting coal in a smelter.

Oh, dualclienting might be the cause then - I never do this, so I don't have this problem. The fix is easy then - stop multiclienting

I almost never have more than one client open and I'm still freezing up every hour or so. It seems to happen pretty randomly for me, without a particular in-game cause.

I have had this issue once or twice as well. Client locks and the only way to close it is is to end the java process in task manager here. From what I gather it has always occurred when I have an item latched to the mouse and trying to drop said item into a location. For example last night when I tried to place a branch in my meat smoker it froze. It was the last branch pulled from a planted willow tree. Thinking on it more now it is always an item with purity for me.

You should produce a thread dump when it happens.
