All my characters got deleted when I launched enders client,my avatar is my main character I just got the avatar from my main character in account settings about two hours ago,and all my characters are gone.

you sure it's not Latikai's that you launched, with some stuff written on the box for char research ?

Well I tried launching Latikai's client and the salem updater loads,When it finishes nothing happens.

Then I launched Enders client updater.jar and it works fine but it crashes a lot.

and the vanilla one ? Still no chars ?

I cant launch it,the firewall blocks it and I cannot unblock it.
Even turning off firewall doesn't work.

First, sure you're in the right account? A client cannot delete characters. In fact, there is no way to delete a character. Best you can do is kill said character(s) off.

Second, if you're using a router of any type, they usually have some sort of firewall built in. Sometimes these are simple firewalls with little thought of additional security beyond the basic function of a router, other times they have some pretty sophisticated firmware built in. Make sure your router isn't the cause of the issue.

Two things I need to say:

First, you say that your characters were deleted but now you say you cannot launch the original. So the firewall was a problem that started?

Second, I believe that the problem is that the different clients do not save your characters. So for your new client, there are no clients, but the old client, your characters are safe.

I don't have a clue what you're talking about here....

different clients won't have your login credentials if you've never used it before, but once you log in, you'll still see all your characters no matter what.

You should also be able to see all your characters on this forum (top, account details or somewhat like that). Even murdered characters, which don't appear in your list anymore in the clients, will be listed there.

Just for the record, your characters do still exist. When I log in on your account using the standard client, they are listed and perfectly well.
