I was playing Salem fine the other day. I uninstalled/re-installed Java (for unrelated reasons, Minecraft was screwing up so this was an attempt to fix that) and now Salem will not run. Here's what happens;
1)I run Salem (same happens with the default and Ender client) and the Java 7 load screen appears.
2)The "Starting Application" window appears. It says "Verifying Application" and has the URL location "http://game.salemthegame.com"
3)The Java "Security Warning" screen appears and I choose to "accept the ristk and want to run this appication." and click "Run"
4)The windows disappear and nothing happens. Nothing loads, nothing is running when I check the Task Manager.
I have the Java Security set to "Medium" (the lowest Java 7 will run), and I have both the default and Ender client's listed in "Exception Site List". I have removed and downloaded both clients numerous times with the same results. I had update 51 of Java 7 running when I uninstalled/re-installed it yesterday. I don't think anything else has changed but Salem just won't run. It runs fine on my Mac desktop, but not on my newer, better, faster laptop (Windows 8). Any suggestions?
