Error only Ocurring on my Laptop...wtf

Last night on my laptop I got the blacksmithing skill...and then my ender client crashed with the following message:

Nothing I have done - including deleting and reinstalling Salem, un-installing and reinstalling Java, trying to use the original client will work on my character...the other 2 characters I have created on the same account work fine.

Every time I log in on my laptop using my main character I get the above message......BUT....when I was at work today I thought I would try - and my character works fine on my work computer....can someone tell me what the hell is going on....

I want to be able to play Salem at home again....soon.....please help me......

clear java cache.

Go to control panel, select java, general tab, press "settings" under "temporary internet files" and then "delete".
