Dropping things

I've recently noticed that when I pick something and I have a full inventory I can't drop it unless I open a craft window and click within that, just checked and its all of the time, is this a feature not a bug? I can understand it being a good thing to save from accidentally dropping those things that don't have models. It just seems a bit odd that you can drop it by clicking in a craft window.

There have been times when dropping an item has been difficult and required me to click all around the screen until the item dropped. I have never been forced to open any window in order to drop an item, so I wonder if your observations are only circumstantial.

Will have to agree with Champie here. Dropping an item after picking up more than the backpack can hold has been problematic. I'll usually open my inventory ('tab' key), swap an item and back, and then drop the item i don't want. At least, this seems to work for me.

Hmm, I tried both clicking around in lots of places and I also tried swapping for something else in my inventory and dropping that and swapping back but it was only when I clicked in a craft window that it did drop.

I have wondered if this problem is caused by a network connection issue. It is pure speculation on my part, so this comment could be unproductive and annoying, but if you are using a wireless connection, have you tested with a wired connection? Is it possible to test on a different computer? I'm just throwing out ideas, so I am sorry if I am wasting your time :)

It seems to be only a problem with custom clients...

Actually it's about ctrl-t (profi) window. The big version of it. Looks like it register clicks in it instead of mapview (when you have stuff in hand).
