Lost items

My husband and I play and we lost our sled when it fell through the terrain a few nights ago. Tonight my canoe slid through the wall in our house. I can see it but not reach it the same with the sled. We can see it under the terrain but can not retrieve it.

In the case of objects stuck in the walls of something (house, wall, trees, etc), you'll need to remove the building to retrieve the item. If it's in the black area on the inside of the house, this is a known bug. Destroying the house should dump the contents outside. There are no "refunds" as this is still considered beta grade software and bugs and loss from bugs should be expected.

In the case of items stuck in the terrain, you might be able to dig them out. It doesn't always work, but it might be worth a try. There has been cases of items and players falling part way through the terrain recently. I'm not sure if it has been fixed yet, but it is a known issue.

Thanks, the house I will destroy. It is time for an upgrade anyway.
I have not paid for anything. I have earned all through play so no refund needed I did try to dig the sled out but there is a peak on top of it that can not be dug. I am sad that it is a loss. I love the game and am having fun. I am very glad we found it!

if you lost your sled because it fell through the terrain outside, you might want to add the line for sleds to your radar. You'll be able to right-click the radar icon from the sled to interact with it and pick it up.

I just lost my leanto with 2 boxes filled inside it. Is there anyway to know how degradation affect this game or if its a known bug? Is not first structure i lose first was a frame with fishes on it.

anything which is not on (actively) claimed land will decay, randomly. The more red a building looks, the more it has decayed (in four gradations: 0-25% gone, 25-50, 50-75, and 75-100). Claim your stuff or at the very least repair it often.

Tnx for info. It did looked red and was mine and claimed. built by me but damn i did learn this in hard way. Heavy inspirational lost.

EDIT: How often items decay? is there any info i can read?
