Was cooking cabbage rolls before getting bumped to the login screen for no apparent reason.

Maybe someone blocked ports for you. Forum is on the same server as the login server.

Have you checked the routing for issues? Run ping.exe to make sure your connecting to the server (seatribe.se) and tracert to see what jumps are causing issues. If there are issues here, it might be best to contact your service provider. While there's nothing that they can do about it usually (unless its an internal problem), they can pass the issue up the line (if necessary) or give you suggestions on how to get around it.

Also, sometimes the servers go down and don't report immediately on the status page. I'm not sure how loftar has them set up so can't say how much delay is normal, but it shouldn't be more than about a 10-15 minutes.

Yeah it just struck me as odd. Same time for the 2nd night in a row this week. Well it has resolved itself as it did last time. We can consider this issue solved for the moment.

You either have a bad router or modem OR there's an ISP problem. If you're on wireless, there could be intermittent interference on the frequencies used, but then that should affect everyone in the area.

I tried everything as usual. Power cycle the modem. Change channels. Flush the DNS caches. Refresh my IP. Reboot my machine. We'll have to see if it happens again tonight. It is def an out of the blue thing. I had read Loftar talking about intermitent host net problems when they suffer an occasional DDoS.

That will show up in a route trace, though, at the end of the list. If it's your end or your ISP, it'll be in the first few hops.

Or maybe you have some malware installed and it's you DDOSing the server, so the server denies your connection :D
