i was rowing on shallow water river towards my homested.
the boat was like 40 hours old so i dont think it was dmged if thats even possible.

how ever i did hit the side of the river and the row boat including 4 chest's said puff and i was left standing on the side like a fool.....

this is a heavy blow consider my metal tools was inside the boat.
my homested is in the darkness if that change's anything.

Boats slowly wear out, how far have you traveled in it?

probly like 4-6 hours in total and i didnt see any color difference

Lol, yeah you have to repair it like every hour orso.

Its indeed quite hard to see the color difference since its changing very slow, I got ko'd several times before, its certainly good to take some coal with you if you're planning some longer trips.
