Well, it doesn't make any sense, I logged in and my characters from Jamestown are gone. And no, i was not murdered or in combat when I logged out. Even my character on my second account is gone and last time I played he wasn't even logged in. So, I know I had to kill a griefer and his alt the day before, is there some exploit where you can kill players who aren't logged in or something? Everything was fine when I logged out...It does not make any sense...

Its not an exploit. If you kill somebody then you leave a scent. Anybody can use this scent to log you online and kill you. That is what happened. Do not commit crimes. I hope you learned your lesson.

Good to know...a little late, the griefer obviously took advantage of that. I now debate rather to continue playing myself with my main and alt gone. I for one like to help people when I can and keep to myself and my claim, I don't enjoy scamming, stealing, and destroying other peoples property so maybe this is not the game for me. I don't want to be a jerk to survive or take advantage of everyone i come across when I can. So yes, I did learn a lesson.

So, now this doesn't belong in Bugs & Technicalities, I knew scents can track someone to your homestead, but had no idea it would log you in so they can kill you. Since this happened on my homesteads claim i wasn't worried about it.

comash you have been a friend to me and help me out alot and if you are still playing the game pm me and i will help you out anyway i can maybe we can even build a base together we can get your bile up again in 1 week and i have 600 sliver i will spent it a all on study item for you.

you could alway get back your base if you claim the land and get the scent of the person who kill you.
then give it to me i will make sure they pay for it

Yeah, I remade Comash sitting in jamestown twiddling thumbs atm. haven't done anything with him yet. I had to play Total War and do some mass killing with dogs instead.
