Black Textures & Tiles on ATI 5870(screenshot on gfx glitch)
Hey, my friend is experiencing some really strange problem with Salem.
Have a look at this screenshot:

Can anyone help us?

Use ender client

It's off by default and we were using Ender's client. Thanks though.

Looks like a driver issue on your friend's computer to me. Have him delete his video drivers and try reinstalling them.

Yes, that's the thing. We were using the newest ATI drivers.

Unfortunately, using the latest isn't always a guarantee with ATI and OpenGL. Make sure you're using the latest "release" version (compared to beta) and check with ATI's website about OpenGL support. Sometimes it gets bugged between one release and the next and you might have to do some "reversion testing" by installing an older version of a driver (or possibly trying a beta driver).
It also looks like there are some other utilities running on top of the video driver (such as ATI Tray Tools, FRAPs, or other video utility). Make sure these are completely off, and it may be necessary to uninstall to test.
