Salem

Hi,

I recently downloaded Salem, but when I try to open it as a java file, it opens a window, which is closed one second later
Some ideas to solve this problem?

What Java version do you have? Are you sure your antivirus / firewall isn't blocking internet access?

Java 7, and I'll verify about my antivirus

Did you try instead of just double clicking, to open it with... instead. Click on "open with" and select Java from the list.

I tried the openwith and selected Java but it would open the window and close down immediately

Mine did that saying Java Security. No matter how low I changed security it would jump back to high security. Had to download latest Java client again - Version 7 Update 25 [url]java.com/en/download/index.jsp[/url]

i got the same problem

the client launcher doesnt work everytime i try it it says that by java something is missing so i delete java and install it again but it dosen't work

Just a note, you have to open the Salem jnlp file with javaws.exe, not java.exe.

Uninstall Java 7, install Java 6
