For some reason, I can't click to do anything at all. Clicking is irresponsive, and I can't right click or get past the start.

HELP!

Should have made this clear - USING A MAC.

Try to click harder not kidding- I had a problem with right buttom, the effect was the same. Finally I've cleaned mouse and it helped

but wouldn't the issue not be limited to salem in that case? If such were the case, I doubt it'd be posted here ...

Yep, tried click as hard as possible, but nothing. I read the bugtracker, and now I know whats happening, but my new question is, will it ever be fixed?

Salem sounds like a great MMO, and I really want to try it, so i'm very disappointed.

please give us all information you have. if you are aware the exact issue is on the bugtracker, mind linking it ?

Afraid I'm experiencing this, too.

I was originally on Mac OS 10.6.8, but the client kept crashing when first logging in to create a character. I read that it could be out-dated graphics drivers, and the only way I could update these was to update to Mountain Lion (which I've been avoiding, because I don't want iOS on the desktop, and Snow Leopard was very stable).

So I've reinstalled Mountain Lion, updated, and installed Java 7. Now I can log in, but can't speak with the guy with the brown hat, because right-click isn't working in game. It works outside the game perfectly well.

Edit: also, it appears I'm meant to be able to move by left-clicking? This doesn't work, either. I can click on menu items like inventory and options ok, but left-clicking on the map doesn't move me.

Open ender or latikai options and tick mac button there. It mus be fixed as pc so you can't play well. Did you try this way?
