I just did 84% dmg to a stone hedge wall, by destroying the split rail fence next to it.

I believed lower lvl walls dont hurt higher lvl walls, or only a tiny bit.

Is this a bug of some sort?

Lower level walls don't damage higher levels. I've never seen a split rail damage a stone or plank since that change was made. Are you sure that stone wall wasn't already damaged?

If it did, it was definitely a bug, what were the circumstances? Anything special?

I do believe it was because the split rail was "aiming" at the stone hedge.

The split rail was not a corner/starter post but a wall segment, directly at the stone hedge, aiming in the direction of the stone hedge, maybe thats why, but I, too, still consider that a bug.

Anyone else got this behavior?

Well, actually the thread is named different but some writers have made a few notes about splitrail fence.
