I had 14 seeds of Cotton in a Leather Pouch with multiplier 1.14 and 67 seeds of cotton in the inventar with multiplier 1.04. I splitted off 11 seeds of Cotton from the stack in the inventar and put it into the pouch. Now I have 25 seeds of Cotton with multiplier 1.02 ?!? How is this calculated?

btw: I also have humus with 0.99 multiplier - how is this calculated?

This is not a bug. To retain the purity, you should only mix seeds together that have the same general alchemical makeup.

I still think there must be something wrong with humus and such, though. I mean, i've got some 0.98 ones with all the elements below 25...

As far as the purity formula goes, it is actually possible to get multipliers below 1. Its hard, but doable. Weird, small changes in alchemical make up do that.

There's an averaging mechanic that isn't quite working right. It's been reported before. I have theories, but I can't really think of a way to test them within the mechanics of the game.
