Salem

Hey there
Accidently i find this game in mmogames, and the character looks and the design of game some how hook me to give it a try..
i just registered then clicked on the link for download,it finished and i clicked on an icon called Salem with 2kb size then java 7 started to run it
and yes i did successfully login then i cant see the characters just a black looking character and under it an icon with a text "new character"





then somehow i enter the game i just tried to talk with the guy with brown hat and got some skill and then i realize i cant move or do anything else,well even skin of my character and the other vendors wasnt well loaded, i just close the game and started again,anything was same like befor i just can play for 1 min then i cant move my character or do other things,every time i login there is black character and every time it gave me new character.



i came to unstall the game and install it again i didnt find the file location too,what i do to fix it?

i have windows 7 64-bit
last VGA drive installed mine is Nvidia Gforce 9500GT
my java version is 7 64-bit

PS: you move by clicking, and then talking on the first person to get your skin color + gender change.

Not sure about the site warning, L33LEE. Might be worth looking into, but my security software didn't show anything. <shrug> Too bad there isn't one single repository that AV/security software companies can use to flag the malicious sites (of course, then it would be subject to hacking and all kinds of other shenanigans).

Another thing to note about Salem, excalibo, is that it loads much like a web page. (I believe much of the data transfer uses HTTP.) You'll get chunks of data coming through faster than others, so you might have your character but miss the mini-map or you'll have a mini-map and skills, but don't know what's in your inventory yet. It can take several minutes for things to load.

Where you start is the character creation room. That's the room you are in on that last screen shot. Follow the instructions given. It's a bit of a tutorial on how to interface with things. There's some really good instructional guides and videos in the Help! section of the forum that will make things clearer.

Hey sorry for late replay,it just fixed somehow,today when i login i saw everything works well,thanks for replay guys,i might find it out that what was exactly the problem

Changed anything recently? Had any updates come through with Java, video drivers, operating system, security software, etc?

There are often small fixes to the client when a new update comes and sometimes that resolves matters, too. Good luck, have fun!
