Mouse commands not working

Pretty sure this is the right place to put this, but if not ah well.
I just got this today. I logged in fine, selected create a new character and got transported to the creation area. My problem arrives when i need to talk to the npcs.
It doesn't work.
I cant seem to use left click for movement or right click to interact. The WASD keys work fine, i can wander around the port but i cant advance as it wont let me talk to anyone.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Im running it on Mac.
And I don't wont any useless troll posts telling me to buy a PC or windows or whatever, because thats not helpful.
