Everything is on claim, behind stonewall (Not locked). I was away from a while, and apparently during the time I was away we got robbed, but nobody has seen any scents. Possible bug?

Scents do go away over time, maybe you were gone too long. Or perhaps someone with permissions stole from you.

sometimes scents don't appear immediately after you activate the tracking skill, might want to move a screen away and come back to check.

sounds internal friend, check who you gave permissions too.

Scents decay. How long were you away? Murder goes away in 9 days just to give you an idea. Since it wasn't locked it would be trespassing and theft, which are on the shorter end of existence. If your friends didn't think to turn tracking on while you were gone they wouldn't see anything.
