So I just got a game key, logged in, and was creating my character when the client froze and then went black. The exact action I was doing was changing my beard and I had not yet chosen a name. Not sure what else to say, just thought I should mention it.

Edit: Okay, I figured out that it is when I click on the options (shadow) button that the client crashes. I repeated it and it occurred again.

what video card do you have? are the drivers updated?
