If you hover the mouse over the crafting button for the pirate's pants, the tooltip says it's a pirate captain's coat. The tooltip is correct when you hover over the icon in the crafting window though, it's only the tile in the craft>>clothes>>pants menu that's giving the wrong tooltip.
