Lost 40 silver when trying to buy sugar

If you have 1 inventory slot (not 2), you'll lose your money and have NO sugar. It wasn't on the ground and it wasn't in my hand.
I'd like a refund please.

Was the silver in your inventory, and did you count the silver slot as an empty slot?

Thanks for your response!
The silver was in a purse and I only had one empty inventory slot. I was unaware that it was going to take two to purchase sugar.

Thanks for posting the bug report. Several items will disappear when dropped on the ground for a variety of reasons.

Understood and thanks. I don't know why it didn't fill at least one slot in my pack though. Even if it dropped them on the ground, I did have one space available.

A tip - if you have an empty dry goods bag then sugar will automatically go into it.

The same happened to me the first time I tried to buy sugar. I don't care about any silver back. I am just confirming that it did take the silver and I ended up with nothing in return when buying sugar with one empty slot and no dry goods bag. No warning. No chance to back out.
