Timber piles yield 100% dry boards now?

I made a timber pile in the middle of my base before the patch. Then 3 days after the patch i collected the boards and they were all 100% perfect dry boards. Now i believe in luck and funny dice rolls but this is more than awkward. I assume its a bug.

Nope, some will give all dry boards if they aren't hit with mold while drying or from another nearby moldy pile. Lucky that you got it from the only pile you made though, very cool.

But it was in the middle of my base. Fields and drying frames 1 tile away......

The distance from other objects wont affect it, but if a pile gets mold it will spread it to nearby piles while drying. That's the reason everyone says to place them away from one another.
