My keyboard doesn't work in-game. I am in the character creation area and can click-move and interact (e.g. change to female) but the keyboard isn't doing anything.

WASD doesn't work, and when I go to enter my name with the ship captain, I type but nothing appears.

Windows 7 with Chrome

The only two current issues similar to this I can think of are one with a mouse and another someone else posted a few months ago with the input freezing up.

For the mouse, the proposed solution is to make sure that the desktop color quality is set to 32 bit. (Open Display Properties, Settings tab, Color quality drop box should be set to HIghest or True Color (32 bit). You can get to display properties by right clicking the desktop and selecting "Properties".)

The other issue (forum.salemthegame.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1739) never reached a definite solution.
