Terrain spikes when quarry meets cliff

Didn't see anything on this yet, but I was wondering if anyone else has been a little turned off with the odd things that happen when quarries meet cliffs. I hope when the next world comes around (if there is such a new world), that the terrain generator will not have this sort of thing happen.

I have fallen down a well!

Makes me think a monster's lower jaw is buried in that hillside.

Does anyone else feel vaguely reminded of a sweetroll?

Double Spire! Double Trouble!

On the edge of one of the twin spires with limp wrists to show that the surface is walkable.

By the way, if you have not played around with these... you can walk up and down them with no trouble. I would like to see extra cliff types added when quarry meets cliff to hopefully fix these odd terrain spikes and add some some rare and pretty lime and such cliffs. So far I love the generated terrain in Salem, this is just one of the things that bothers me.

Anyone else mind offering thoughts and suggestions?

Also I just noticed these are all lime quarries and it seems stone quarries interact a little less silly with cliffs as the cliffs sort of overwrite the stone entirely.

If I am in the area again, there is another similar such meeting to the west of that scene except there are two oddities there. One which is a -52 depth put that spikes up to +5 on one side and +20 on the other that you can walk through. The other is some strange cliff spikes crowning the top of a sloped quarry. I'll see about getting screenies of both later.
