Hello.

When i tried to enable rendering shadows on my mac, the game started crashing at startup.

I noticed that it can be disabled by changing the config-fil, salem.cfg, though i'm unable to find the path on mac.

Tried reinstalling, tried brute-force searching for the file-name as well as the shadows=true line, but no luck.

Does anyone know where it lives?

If it's on the original client, I haven't been able to find where this information is stored, even if it's in a hidden file. (It would all be relative to Java from what I can tell.)

A temporary solution would be to get something like Ender's client and use it. You can use it to log in, the config file is created, and then delete the config file and it all works again.
