Disappearing Fields

Did my field work last night and this morning I come online only to find 2 cotton fields, 2 corn fields and 3 cabbage fields totally gone - no breakins in the plot, they are just gone.

Is this a new feature to annoy us? This junk takes a long time to get setup and then having it totally erased is not pleasant. The longer my friends and I play the less we want to continue with the radom bugs/quirks and such.

The areas now say "You cannot ploy in this location" which makes absolutely no sense. What is the newest restriction on planting now? Must the fields have some strange configuration now?

Patch notes, think you'll find the answer there.

I believe, though I'm not sure about this, that non-overlapping fields that were placed on dirt (which you can't build on now) have also been destroyed.

If the no-making-field-on-already-worked-are thing is a feature, it might be a ploy to make us expand the area we use and claim. = silver drain.

Any fields that were in violation of where fields should be able to go were removed in this update. It was a documented bug so it being fixed was an eventuality that should have been anticipated. =)

Were fields placed on dirt, yet non-overlapped in violation of "where fields should be able to go"?

Now I am totally stumped....strange locations??? I specifically set aside areas in my plot to do field planting....and now they are coming up as invalid areas? How the heck are you supposed to get this working if they pull the rug from under you?

Fix: Get rid of this stupid field creation system and make it as anything else....you want to place a field....it appears as a ghost image and you can plop it down where allowed, no more guessing what devs consider invalid...this is really stupid way of doing things....would have been nice to be able to at least harvest my field one more time before you killed it arbitrarily...fix the creation of fields so we can actually know how it looks where it can be placed and such....as is, I might as well destroy all my fields and start totally over as my main powerful fields were removed and all I have are my original cereal oat fields which are worth nothing.

however, as TeckXKnight mentioned, this bug has been documented, confirmed and abused to oblivion ever since the start of closed beta (at least, I didn't play alpha). People who exploited it did so on their own risk.
As far as I have heard/read, the fact that fields cannot be placed on dug soil is not supposed to happen.
My (4x4!) fields and dug soil are still around, but my neighbours 1x1 fields have magically disappeared!
