I am stuck between a cliff and deep water. I do not have swimming yet. I have some items that I do not want to lose, I have also been traveling for over an hour towards my girlfriend. I really do not want to recall. Is there anything i can do to get out of this?

Unfortunately, unless you can learn swimming, you'll need to port out. Maybe the devs will be gracious to you for providing video of it, but I doubt it. This isn't the first time this bug has been reported, but previously we've only had a screenshot or two at best.
