I wouldn't say that he doesn't want to fix it. This was brought up quite a while ago. How, exactly, do you fix it? There will always be some point at which players are able to build whatever they want, and this will quite possibly be just one of many obstacles you have to face.
If there's holes in a wall, you could easily just walk out. (Make sure you have enough black bile you don't KO before getting through the claim). You can just use the free wilderness port to completely circumvent the problem. Other options may possibly exist, too. This really isn't a bug and there's plenty of discussion on it elsewhere (in several places). Topic locked. (If you have questions, feel free to PM me.)
