Vault from overlapping, inaccessible hitboxes?

Postby jorb » Thu Jan 10, 2013 8:13 pm

I've been told that it's somehow possible to build a vault from overlapping hitboxes -- rumor speaks of stones, construction signs and sleds -- which then supposedly can't be reached from the outside, as approaching any one of the signs will always cause the character to bump into another sign in the structure first. I'd like to know if anyone can help me confirm/deny this.

I've experimented a little bit, and it does seem that I can perhaps get a couple of signs to be inaccessible, by placing them really tight, but I do not quite get how I'd actually go about closing this structure to create a vault.

If anyone can provide inroads or a screenshot of a proof of concept or whatever, I'd be grateful.

Thanks!

Well I'll need to have it explained slowly, as if to an idiot, I guess. I don't find that I can place a sled on a hitbox, nor a hitbox on a sled.
