I just set down a claim stake, and put in everything but 1 bit of rock, I then realized I wanted to move move it, so i destroyed the stake, and I thought I would get the materials back, but they have disappeared! I worked hard for the Writ of Land part and I wan't to know if i can get it back, please help!!!!

No you destroyed it and you wont get it or any materials back. So work again for a new Claim

Key word here is destroy, You won't be getting it back.

well I worked hard on that and I have little time to play, thought a mod or someone could item retrieve for me.
Don't really think the game is worth the effort if I can't be helped for a simple mistake.

To be honest, if you think that game isnt worth for you cause YOU made a mistake, then i dont want to know what you think if you spent months on a character and you get permakilled then.

Sorry, mods don't have this sort of capability. In the future, be sure of the actions you are taking. As others point out, this is a permadeath game and what will you do when you make a big mistake and get your character killed? This is also a beta game. There may be various "features" in the game that need to be changed or bugs that can cause serious issues. If you feel you have a reasonable request for a change to a feature because it isn't of obvious use, please take the issue up in Ideas & Innovations (please search to make sure the suggestion hasn't been previously reported and discussed) or send a PM to TotalyMoo.

As a note, there's usually not much reason to move a claim marker as you can expand the claim and nearly all the time work around anywhere it is placed.
