Forever downloading

So I start up the game and it comes up with a box that says "Downloading application"
And thats it. The progress bar never goes past a certain point.

So I found Enders client and tried that
Now its downloaded but I keep getting this error

Tried that a few times now and no luck

Is there no way to just directly download the client rather than go through all this weblauncher stuff?

Try changing your windows username, reinstalling java.

Reinstalled Java. Doesn't seem to have done any good.

Seems that java cant find some .dlls.
When you started ender client 'updater.jnlp' it should have created yourUSER/salem/bin/ directory. Go there. Copy all .dll files (should be 4) and put them in:
where_you_installed_java/bin/
example: C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin .
Now try starting game again.
