I've been fighting crickets with low yellow bile and blood (under 10). I sometimes replenish Humour in between hits. When I do I always get an error message telling me I don't "have enough resources" as if I was crafting something.

I've been using the Ender client so I'm not sure if it's strictly Ender or if this happens on Vanilla too. I currently don't need to kill crickets and will not rush to check this on Vanilla.

I don't think it's from eating, i get random messages to when i fight crickets like : the perpetrator is not logged in, this area cannot be dug, not enough crafting materials etc. I think it's from the enders client, haven't tried it on the vanilla client tho.

They happen in default client as well

Yep, and I think you can get every single error message in the game at some point if you do enough fighting.

I thought I saw a report link somewhere. I'll see if I can find it again and let the devs know.

Check the bug tracker (stickied at the top of top of this forum.) I believe it's on there already.
