Not sure if this is listed, but while in a party you can access someone's claim, while there i put my boat in his claim, picked it up and he left the party. I was outside of the claim at this point but could not move with the boat still being held. It was acting like I was on his claim still showing it light up like i was tresspassing. Couldn't move or set the boat down. Long story short, in a party, drop boat on someones claim, had rights while in party, claim owner left party while i was carrying the boat outside of claim, got locked up. Hope this helps.

I'm not really sure what all you're claiming as the bug here. Only thing I'm seeing that I can see as a bug is you locking up when the other person left the party.

Please try to use descriptive titles for your bug reports so that devs can see what issues there are at a glance.

I can't possibly see how I can be anymore descriptive. Furthermore I was attempting to help, good luck with the game

You had 'bug' as your title, that could quite literally mean anything but noone is demanding you conform to a cast iron set of rules when reporting bugs, only that we make the job as easy as possible for the devs, such as a descriptive title like 'Permissions, Party and stuck bug'

However, if being on a claim when you dont have tresspassing or any permissions whilst in a party, and then said party is dropped you do get trapped on a claim which is a bug. Dropping an item you own on a claim then being unable to access it because your no longer in the party is not a bug.

It is clear that either I cannot describe it clear enough, or you are not reading this. I said, I was in a party, dropped a boat on a claim, picked the boat up and LEFT THE CLAIM. When I was FAR from the claim, the owner LEFT THE PARTY, at which point my boat thought it was STILL ON THE CLAIM and I could not move and was locked up in place, it is not game breaking, I was giving a bug report, which I have more than learned my lesson on at this point.

If you agree with my description of what you're trying to express as the bug

please say so. If you are saying that I understand the problem as stated above, I believe it is a known issue and something about parties is bugged when one person logs out. I'd have to double check existing bug reports to be sure, though.

No, I am saying this: While in a party, I was in a friends homestead, I had my boat in the homestead with me, I picked it up and left. While walking, far from his homestead, he left the party, when he left, the homestead recognized the carried object (my boat) as being on his claim still since I had not set it down after picking it up on his claim. I could not move or set the boat down. I do not care to investigate if it would do the same while sailing because I may lose everything or even better, drown. That is the best I can do to explain this.

I believe OP is trying to say that he thinks the bug lies in the boat that was previously on the other person's claim and everything was fine until he left party. Then he could do nothing with boat.

OP I think others are saying that it might have been a known issue with errors after one logs out of a party and not the boat itself.

Would you be able to test it again to confirm the object over you head gets its ownership reset when you leave a party? It does, indeed, sound like a bug if you are able to leave with the object and then get your movement locked up while holding it after they leave party.
