swimming and climbing at the same time

Postby iamah » Wed Dec 05, 2012 1:49 pm

there's some weird rivers in Jamestown that are next to a cliff, you swimm and start climbing, but while climbing the humour keeps draining as if you were swimming

this is what it looks like, there's a long stretch going northeast with the same type of river and cliff

Climbing drains phlegm, too. I forget what rate, though. Empirical data would be useful to firm up any proof of bugs.

I was climbing a lot these days and with my then low phlegm, the difference between climbing and swimming drain is pretty noticeable when you have 15 phlegm.

What happens in these locations is you start swimming and suddenly deep water meets cliff wall, so you start climbing with an abnormal drain rate, as if didn't stop the swimming drain.

I can verify this one. There are similar cliffwaters in Roanoke, and I hit this bug on one of them. Even after standing on top of the cliff, my phlegm continued to drop until I got KO'd.

I've encountered this in Roanoke after swimming over a river and then climbing a hill adjacent to it. Knocked me out real fast :/

yup: climbing a cliff in my knowledge doesn't drain phlegm continuously, but rather all in one go (at least on the climbing setting I use). If you start climbing while in the water, however, you'll keep draining phlegm is if you're swimming, until you reach the top AND WALK AWAY FROM THE EDGE. If you keep standing still, the drain will continue.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Water is somewhat buggy, in some places you will get random 'deep' parts where is appears shallow and next to land and especially cliffs near the mountains.
