Was on with a friend, who was on laptop at my house. Logged out, log back in to message saying my former spot (an empty spot on my claim) is occupied. Message asks me if I would like to spawn at my homestead with my inventory, I click yes, and my purse + backpack gone when I log in. Health was down, as if something had killed me, however, I was watching my claim on my friends computer and saw nothing.

Where were you when you logged out? Was the location, where you logged out, visible at all items at your friend's laptop? How long did it take for you to log back in after you logged out? Did you have criminal debuff when logging out? Were you in combat when you logged out? Did you have both backpack and the purse equipped? How exactly did you log out? If by command then which?

I assume that when you logged out your character stayed in game (either due to bug, or criminal debuff, or being in combat) and someone came, knocked it out and looted the backpack ad the purse

Just to note: we don't use the term killed unless you are dead. When you are killed, you lose your character. Any other condition is simply "knocked out".

This error has struck again. Got this message and clicked ok, took me to my lean to minus my Adventurers sword and the seed bag of 31% cereal both in my inventory. Very very disappointed.

This hit me again. Things that will almost always trigger this bug: Logging out standing in your leanto, or while standing on your claim stone, or while standing in the space of an open gate. Careful all. This time it dropped one of my master keys under my stone wall. Yay ***** yay woohoo...

Actually this has happened to me on numerous occassions, but with a slight twist. It usualy occurs after the game has disconnected me, which it seems to do everytime I have a lengthy playing session. As i'm probably stood in the middle of no-where or in water I log back in immediately and get the same msg the op does - again, everytime, I end up at my lean-to minus all my inventory, inc backpack items.

I do always have my purse though and all equiped items. I've also not suffered any health defects.

It's still pretty annoying though, the last time it happened I was in town and had just spent all my pennies on 5 iron bars - that have now disappeared into cyber-space.

Also seems to happen if you standing inside anything without collision detection, like a downed tree for instance.
