while outside cpu shoots up to 50to100% cpu usage when inside its around 35% 2 weeks ago i could run 15 clients without any issues now i cant even run 1 any ideas on how to fix the client?
specs are i5x4 3gz nvidia gt 620

And what did you change in the time between "good" and "bad" performance?

There was a Java update just now, at least for me. Could that be the reason?

salem is the only thing that is hogging cpu im dling wurmonline to see if it has the same cpu issues.

playing empyrion on max cpu is 10%

Neither Salem, nor its client, has changed in the last two weeks. It must be something different about some other program on your computer or your connection.

And 15 clients? Seriously?

Back in the days in EVE I used up to 10, though usually no more than 6 or 7, granted, there were no walls protecting you, so you had to be vigilant all the time, but at least they did not accumulate madness just by being logged in. ^^
What were you doing with that many chars at once?
