How does this happen?

Perfectly level but when connecting the last two tiles of wall its crooked?

The two walls parts are not aligened the same, meaning, you placed at least one of them not centered on the tile.

All I did was extend. The problem is with a cornerpost?

In that case, yes. A starter post was not aligned to grid using shift+mouse move

That might be a bit confusing.

You align the rotation of a wall (usually) with SHIFT-scrollwheel.
You could also align it differently (other than default tile-centered) on the tile, using CTRL, this is what happened here, don't do that. ;)

- Assuming the wall is closed, there must be one more spot like that.
- Luckily that happened along the wall and not at a gate, having misplaced cornerposts like that means you cant build the gate.
- This also means you used at least 1 more starter post than necessary. :p
