Why can I hit a player on the team? Criminal acts are off

Not a bug. Previously reported on the bug tracker and confirmed as intentional.

It adds a bit to the gameplay, especially in group vs group or one vs many combat situations.

Somewhat on this same note, I was watching two rabbits fight a snake and one of the rabbits aimed an attack at the snake but it hit the other rabbit and killed it. i loled.
