I logged in today and I can't do anything, can't even travel home from Providence. When I click I don't move until a minute later, but I do actually move. Why is the server load so high?

Before crashing, the server went into a very long timeout period where some people could log in after multiple attempts but the game was unplayable.

I know what happened now because I asked the question I wanted answered.
