The precious

I took some precious from barrel in town and i cannot drop it or put them in chest or so. Is it bug or where is problem?

not a bug. it is dev trolling.
go back to the town. with an empty inventory besides the rings. and then use the scroll down function on your mouse. then you'll get rid of the it/them

Having the ring does not give you madness. You probably were going insane already. However future reference if you get the ring you can put it in any container by shift + left clicking the item. That will allow you to place it in any container. I have not tested it but its possible you can destroy the item completely by placing it in a reed basket and then destroying the basket.

You can also use the Rotten Log Gnome to drop it.

Would not suggest this. If you have madness already it is unwise to go looking for gnomes as they cause a great deal of insanity. By my count and testing 14 of them equals 1 madness level on a brand new character.

Sure, but one gnome to ditch a precious isn't that hazardous. The one time I had a precious that's how I got rid of it and I'm still okay. Right? I'm okay?

No reason to use a gnome when there already is a safe easy way suggested that works.
You can also pick up the precious by picking up a different item first then swapping it with the precious, your cursor will then hold the precious.
