when making tortillas the rolling pin is not selectd from tool belt, nor does it speed up when you manually equipt it

Roll pin is for wheat tortillas. For tortilla de maiz u use this:

Perhaps you should fully explain what you mean since there are multiple ways to make them.

I make flour tortillas by hand and a cast iron skillet..

rollig pin not used
