In game sounds?

Not sure if this is a bug, or if it's stuff just not implemented in beta, but I seem to have very few in game sounds. Only sounds i've heard are, money dropping when I'm in Boston and the music playing if I level a skill. Other than this I hear nothing. Is this normal or is something wrong with my setup? It's not my mixer, already checked that. Could it be Java? or are there no sounds implemented?? I haven't heard bears or turkeys or anything. Although it's kinda nice all the silence.
