I couldn't find if this has been posted before. But while I'm playing the game the textures are constantly disappearing leaving everything as the white models. Sometimes its just a few objects and other times its almost everything including the ground. Any help thank you.

This crops up from time to time, although I haven't encountered it myself.

I vaguely seem to remember using shadows was part of the issue, try turning them off ?

I kept having the same problem, with shadows turned off. It's the quality water that's a culprit, and textures disappear only when I had water in sight range. Thus I play with quality water off.

It has occured to me and still do. The squirrels for me are nothing but white and have stayed so for a long time. Reinstalling and fiddling amongst the files didn't cut it.
