Hi I just started playing today and when i try to use my hotbar it doesnt go with my 1-9 keys.

It does work when i use the number keys on the numpad to the right or when i shift + 1-9.
I have an azerty keyboard

This is the issue. Many of the codes passed around the system for foreign languages other than qwerty/English differ from what is expected. You'll need to use a utility to remap keystrokes. I know one of the older client mods supported key remaps, but not sure if any of the current ones do.

Or the devs could go for a WAAAAY more simple solution & support AZERTY keyboards by adding more keybinds. (Or don't you give a **** about some EU players?)

S = backward
D = Right

& = 1
é = 2
" = 3
' = 4
( = 5
§ = 6
è = 7
! = 8
ç = 9
à = 0

By assigning these keys, no complications should happen with the existing keys.

To the OP, use alt + shift to swap your keyboard layout to qwerty, you'll have a hard time typing some stuff though.

@wishy: AZERTY is actually only (part of) Belgium and France, and a tiny bit of the Netherlands. Aside from that, AFAIK most countries use QWERTY. I changed from azerty to qwerty years ago for exactly this reason.

somebody said me to use a custom client and that works with my keyboard now
