I'm writing this from my phone, because for some reason my laptop won't let me log in to the website. And neither mine nor my wife's computer will launch the ender client, or the vanilla client. We've had everything running for months now, I was on last night at 10, but now for some reason everything seems to have stopped working. I don't even know where to start to try fixing this.

Yes, I had done literally everything possible. Turns out wifi in the hotel we were staying at simply blocked all sorts of applications and websites. I'm in a coffee shop and everythings working like normal. Crisis averted.

When connecting through a public wi-fi, this should always be the first thing you check. Commercial network connections often pay per gigabyte, so many will block anything they can get away with. Hotels, however, often have business travelers that need to connect to all kinds of things, so this surprises me. Name and shame!!
