i lost some stuff overnight and i went to my neighbors house and saw they were there. then i somehow fainted from loss of black bile... so i logged out and logged back in cause it was taking forever and now i can revive at all... what do i do?

Your 24 hour ko because you turned on crimes and tresspassed without knowing how that system works. Now you get to worry whether someone will send you home, or kill you.

yes. death is permanent in Salem. Consider it only a minor setback, though, as the time it takes to rebuild a character is only a fraction of what it took to build up your home in the first place.

It should also be noted that you will be able to "Inherit' your progress up to 10 stats for free incase you didn't use the inheritance mechanism yet.

Same thing happened to me, only my neighbor stole from me twice before I went onto his land. The first time I just placed a sign next to his base asking not to steal from me....

Long story short eventually the server crashed and I got out of the KO status and logged in saying your previous position is not available... I got lucky. I won't try to recover my stuff again...

The other thing that can happen is canoe-ing onto another property doesn't warn you the same as walking onto it. You then get out of the canoe or place it and whap!!!.... you cant pick it up anymore.... then when server restart or you log out you get the "you cant spawn at the last location message"

Make sure to always have "show claims" on. You can turn it on with the buttons on the minimap. There's one for personal and one for towns. This way you can make sure you don't stop in the middle of one.
