Under the affects of a crime

I trespassed onto my friends land because he was offline to add me to the claim, and we were planning to move before Tuesday, but I just realized that every time I right click with criminal acts on, I cannot set a homestead for 1 more day, so now I am at like 24 days until I can change my homestead.
