Greetings!

Yesterday the game kicked me out, and since then everytime I try to join the game with that character it keeps sending me to the login menu without a error message.
So it is impossible to play that character anymore. Other characters work fine.

I tried it on 3 different PCs(where I haven't played before) with no success.
So it shouldn't be Java or hardware related.

It may be notable that I was very close to an unknown settlement when it happened, so it may have something to do with the claim?
Also my friend was playing over the same IP during that time.

Hope you can help me out.

did you get killed or did it just log you out? I don't know how a character looks when its killed is why i'm asking.

I don't know how a death looks in the game. But I didn't get a "you're dead" message or whatever happens then.
The character is also still available in the selection screen.

fairly sure when you die you are logged out. i just dunno if it removes the character or not. if someone was attacking you or agrod you then it prolly died.

I assume there's no error message when you try to log in?

Do you remember what you were doing the first time you got kicked out?

No error message at all.

I was just walking around looking at the settlement, and the only noticeable thing was that I was probably getting close to the claim.

No aggro. I didn't see anyone, animal or player.
If it's normal that the character stays in the select screen when you die then I guess that was it.

you arent dead when you can select your char on the charactor choosing screen.

have you tried clearing all java cashe?

Yes, also reinstall of java(version 6 and 7) and Salem and playing on a PC where the game wasn't previously installed.

I just went to the same town again with a new character. Same problem.

This time I got a short error message:

java.lang.NullPointerException

That the full msg? what client are you using?
