Water Purity

I realize water doesn't have purity, but it still behaves as if it has a purity of 0, instead of not being a factor. For instance when making tanning fluid a 71% pure brain into a bucket of water drops the tanning solution to 0. If it wasn't a factor the 71% would simply carry over.

It's like that because the resulting purity doesn't matter at all for anything so it saves time to not change it yet.

It would matter if you wanted to use pure milkweed for fibre netting; washing the roots reduces the aether. Most people will use cotton, of course, but still.
